Carmen Louise ALDERFER, 66, of 6536 19th Road, Argos, died at 6:35 a.m. Sunday at her home. She had been in failing health for a year. She was born Nov. 20, 1921 in Marshall County to Russell and Lucy COPLEN GOOD. She lived most of her life in the Argos community. She was married Jan. 24, 1941 near Argos to Herman L. ALDERFER, who survives. A beautician for several years, she was a member of the Walnut Church of the Brethren. Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Joy) HALL, Argos; three sons, Russell Lee and David H. ALDERFER, both of Argos, and Larry ALDERFER, Tipton; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ray (Joan) FREED, Plymouth, and a brother, Wendell GOOD, Argos. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Walnut Church of the Brethren with the Revs. Gary EDWARDS and Robert RICE officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
