Arnold R. Alder
WEISER — Services for Arnold R. Alder, 27, Weiser, who died Wednesday of injuries received in a car-train accident west of Weiser, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Weiser Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Larry B. Hansen. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser, under the direction of the Northam-Jones Chapel.
He was born Oct. 7, 1949, in Weiser and was graduated in 1967 from Weiser High School. He later attended Idaho State University. He served in Vietnam for 10 months with the U. S. Marine Corps.
He worked for the U. S. Forest Service for the past four years and was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Jolie Ann, Weiser; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Alder, Weiser; a brother, John, Pocatello; a sister, Mrs. Kathaleen Padavano, Brussels, Belgium; his grandmother, Mrs. Annie Alder, Weiser; and several aunts and uncles.
