Mary "Polly" Hayward was the daughter of Amos and Mary, nee Ripley, Hayward.
Married to Capt. Joseph Alden Jr. (1777-1803) in Middleboro, Massachusetts on December 21, 1800.
They were the parents of Addison (b. 1801), Almira (b. 1803), Amelia (b. 1806), Amos (b. 1808), Amanda (b. 1811) and Alexander (b. 1814).
