Anne (Alden) Lester, a lifelong resident of Needham died on Friday, May 16th at Briarwood Healthcare.
She was 92 years old.
Born in Needham, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Ann (Gannon) Alden. Mrs. Lester was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Needham. The beloved wife of the late Clayton Lester, she was the loving mother of Priscilla Lester of Needham, John A. Lester of Brockton and the late Raymond W. Lester. Sister of Priscilla Ringer of Wolfeboro NH, David E. Alden of Tallahassee FL and the late Dr. John D. Alden and William E. Alden. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 12 surviving great grandchildren. Great grandmother of the late Michael Bournazian.
Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Monday, May 19 at 10:00 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday morning from 10 to 11AM only.
Interment Needham Cemetery.
