ANGEL ALDAPE, 81, of Alvin passed away on June 28, 2012. Angel was born on November 21, 1930 in Valle Hermoso, Mexico to parents, Juan and Guadalupe (Andaverde) Aldape. He moved from Mcallen to Alvin in 1979 and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his grandson, Juan Carlos Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Josefina Aldape of Alvin; children: Guadalupe Martinez and husband Jaime of Manvel, Raquel Garcia and husband Gregory of Alvin, Juan Aldape and wife Guadalupe of Alvin, Miguel Aldape and wife Diana of Pasadena, Maria Aldape of Alvin; brother and sisters: Lucio, Otilia, Gloria and Pura Aldape; grandchildren: Jaime Jr., Mireya, Eddie, Evelyn, Amanda, Cindy, Jeanette, Miguel Jr., Melinda, Monica, Kevin, Gilbert and Selena; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Froberg Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday June 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Borski officiating. Interment followed at Oak Park Cemetery.
