Mr. Claude 'Johnny' Albritton -- A native of Fort Myers, FL and a long time resident of Mobile, AL died in a local hospital on Monday, August 4, 2003. Mr. Albritton was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church and a 40 year member of George U. Potter Lodge #912, F&AM. He was a retired Master Sgt with the United States Air Force and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was retired from Teledyne Continental Motors and was a recipient of the Carnegie Medal for Heroism. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Imogene Meadows Albritton, Mobile, AL; three sons, John A. (Patricia) Albritton, Mobile, AL, Jeffery S. (Tammy) Albritton, Mobile, AL and Robert A. (Donna) Albritton, Collins, MS; sister, Louise Walston, Saraland, AL; brother, G. C. Albritton, Ozark, AL; uncle, John A. (Mary Lou) Albritton, Summerdale, AL; six grandchildren, John, Justin, Veronica, Letitia, Regina and Amanda; six great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 10AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
