Leavenworth Echo - March 3, 1922
Charles Albright died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1922, at his home in Leavenworth from old age and general debility.
Mr. Albright was born in Germany Nov. 29, 1843, and came to America while still a boy and joined friends from his native heath in Ohio, where he remained and upon reaching manhood married Margaret Lentz. To this union six children were born, three of whom with the wife and mother survive. After a shot residence n Ohio the Albrights moved to Illinois and later to Kansas where they endured all the privation of pioneer life. In 1904 they removed, coming to the Wenatchee valley and locating on a ranch near Leavenworth, later moving into this city.
Deceased is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. S. C Brune, Woodburn, Oregon; Mrs. Tm Darling and Mrs. Sexton Carlquist of Leavenworth, and their respective families; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anna Albright and family of Leavenworth.
In life Mr. Albright was a devout Christian and a man who had the respect and confidence of neighbors and friends.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church, Rev. Hoskins preaching the sermon, and interment was made in the Leavenworth cemetery. The Leavenworth Undertaking Co. had charge of the funeral and burial.
