Ernest "Reggie" Albright, 64, of Severna Park, died of a heart attack Aug. 3 at North Arundel Hospital.
Born May 28, 1940, in New York, Mr. Albright was self-employed in the home construction business.
He was a member of Severna Park United Methodist Church and the Severna Park Elks, active with the Boy and Girl Scouts and a participant in the Baltimore Civil War Round Table. His interests included baseball, dancing, camping, collecting baseball memorabilia, hunting, gardening and Civil War re-enactments.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Albright, whom he married in 1966; two daughters, Keri Lynn Albright of Severna Park and Laurie Lee Baxter of North Carolina; two sisters, Margaret Kishpaugh of Texas and Patricia Wienands of Arizona; and one brother, David Albright of Maryland. He was the brother of the late Douglas Albright.
I knew Reggie Albright from 9/88 until his passing in 8/04, and felt very blessed to have known him. I loved hanging out with him and his family, and never minded getting the "third degree" throughout our many dinners. We were very saddened to witness his deteriation from Alzhimers and Congestive Heart Failure, but at least there is some solace in knowing that he is now at peace.
