Dorothy P. Markle

GLENVILLE - Dorothy P. Markle, 90, entered into God's eternal care Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Brethren Home, New Oxford. Dorothy was the loving wife of Henry E. Markle, who died June 11, 1992.
Born July 20, 1924, in the Pleasant Hill area, south of Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Ezra J. Albright and Florence (Leese) Albright Miller, and the step-daughter of the late Frank B. Miller.
Mrs. Markle was a member of St. Jacob's Stone Church, Glenville. Dorothy was a housewife and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Terry A. Markle and wife, Patricia of Hampton, Va., and John F. Markle and his wife, Charlotte of Glen Rock; three grandchildren, Kristina Markle Giddinge, Susan Markle Majka, and John-Bryan Markle; and four great-grandchildren, Skye, Hunter, Boston, and Elizabeth Rose.
A graveside service to celebrate and remember Dorothy will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at St. Jacob's Stone Church Cemetery, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, with her pastor, the Rev. Melissa A. Eicholtz, officiating. The Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, has been entrusted by the family with the funeral arrangements.
