Westernport,Maryland --- Harry D. Albright, 99, of the Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport, formerly of Oldtown and Keyser, W.Va., died Monday, March 13, 2000, at the Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport.
Born Jan. 8, 1901, in Wellersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph Albright and Barbara (Owens) Albright Erhard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Albright; three sons; two daughters; three sisters; and three brothers.
Mr. Albright was a retired heavy equipment operator and a farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Winifred Road, Cumberland.
Surviving are three sons, Chester Albright, Laurel, Joseph Albright and wife Sara, Middlefield, Ohio, and George Albright and wife Charlotte, Keyser; six daughters, Violet Shreve and husband Frank, Keyser, Hazel Fox and husband Vernon, Baltimore, Anna Keene, Omaha, Neb., Ruth Barker, Willoughby, Ohio, Lucy Magnor and husband Sam, Beverly, W.Va., and Patricia Lester, Beverly; one sister, Florence Robertson, Cumberland; a number of step-children; 31 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cresaptown, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Herbst and step-grandson, Leo Lavine officiating.
Interment will be in the Pinto Mennonite Cemetery, Pinto.
