Mary L. Albright Bittler, 89, formerly of Bethlehem, died Friday in Cedarbrook's Fountain Hill Annex. She was the wife of the late Severas W. Bittler and John W. Albright.

She was a private duty nurse.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Gertrude Blanche (Lobb) Benner.

She was junior choir director and Sunday school teacher at Advent Moravian Church, Bethlehem, and was past president of the church's ladies guild.

She was president of the auxiliary at Ritterville Fire Company and the Cosmopolitan Club at the Bethlehem YWCA.

Survivors: Daughter, JoAnne, wife of Bud Hoodmaker of Bath; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, John M. Albright.
