Josephine Sardenga Albrecht 88 passed away Sunday August 28 2011.
She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for many years.
After the death of her husband she resided in Houston Texas and Lake Mary Florida finally returning to Houston where she lived the remainder of her life.
Mrs. Albrecht was the beloved wife of the late Richard John Albrecht Sr.
She was the mother of two sons: Richard J. (Rebecca) Albrecht Jr. and Christopher J. (Lisa) Albrecht. She was also the mother of three daughters Judith A. (Clifford) Elie Mary A. (David) Fry and Pauline A. (Charles) Bongiovanni.
She was the daughter of the late Eva Rizzo Fisher and the late Louis Sardenga.
She was the sister of the late Henry Sardenga the late Margaret Sardenga Oliver and half brother Ernest Landry. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday September 20 2011 at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell Louisiana. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning 9:00 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Following the mass Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery Biloxi MS.
