She was beloved mother of Betty (Paul) Glatzel,
Grandchildren, Scott Glatzel and Gerald Glatzel.
Brother Joseph (Josie) Hruska,
sister Marcella & late Glen Nimmer
and sister-in-law Betty Schleis McSwan.
Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Sylvia was born and grew up on the family farm in Stangelville. She married Tony and settled in Kewaunee where she was a homemaker enjoying cooking, sewing, gardening and visiting with friends and family. Tony and Sylvia were active in Holy Rosary Parish and the Kewaunee VFW post. She moved to Alexian Village in Milwaukee in 2006 to be closer to her daughter and family after Tony's death. All who knew her both at Alexian and in Kewaunee always found her to have a smile and be a kind and very nice lady.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. James Dillenberg officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
