Allen Albinger, age 75 years of Saukville, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was born February 25, 1941 in Sheboygan, son of Paul E. Albinger Sr. and Helen (nee Link) Albinger.
Allen worked with his father and uncle at Albinger Automotive in Saukville until retiring. Allen was an avid Ham radio operator, dedicating over 50 years of service to the MARS organization which connects overseas active duty military personnel with their families back home. He was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, the Saukville Fire Department, the Ozaukee County Radio Club, and the Silver Springs Radio Club of Ocala, FL, both of which he had served as president.
He is survived by his two brothers Gerald of Ocala, FL and Paul Jr. (Barbara) of Gilbert, AZ, nieces and nephews, and special friends Chuck and Charity Kroeger , Ellen Adams, and John and Sandy Beecher. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 16, 12 noon at St. John XXIII Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, Saukville, with Fr. Pat Wendt presiding. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington on Thursday from 4-8 PM and at the CHURCH Friday from 11 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to Lawlis Family Hospice or Saukville Fire Department appreciated.
