Albert Alberts, 93, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 1971, at the Humboldt Community Memorial Hospital.
Albery Alberts was born Sept. 18, 1877, in Richardson County, a son of Henry and Grace Alberts, He attended rural schools.
Aug. 4, 1900, he was united in marriage to Sophie Buchholz at the St. James Lutheran Church. Mr. Alberts was engaged in farming.
Mrs. Alberts preceded her husband in death and since 1947, he had made his home with his son in law and daughter, Mr.and Mrs. Clarence Koheler of Humboldt.
Mr. Alberts was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Letha) Volker of Auburn, and Mrs. Clareance (Hulda) Koehler of Humboldt, a son, Eddie Alberts of Humboldt, 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sophie, two sons, Henry and Chris Alberts; a daughter, Elsie; one great granddaughter, Pamela Jean Gerdes; six brothers and 2 sisters.
