Howard Gene Albert, 61, of Hibbard, passed away at 7:40 a.m. March 12, 2011 at his home.

Howard was born June 24, 1949 in Kokomo, Ind. to Wendell Vance and Marjorie (Caler) Albert. His father preceded him in death March 27, 2007.

Howard was a graduate of Ancilla College and attended Faith Baptist Church in Plymouth. He was a food processor at Bay Valley Farms. He loved playing basketball, camping, and sports. He was a devout Christian and family man. His greatest pride came from his military service. He served 18 years in the Army National Guard and served in Vietnam. He was also a member of the Argos American Legion.

Howard is survived by his mother, Marjorie Albert of Hibbard; son, Samuel Albert of Argos; daughter, Nicole Albert of Argos; brother, Norman Albert of Hibbard; sister, Boni (Dean) Danner of Waukesha, Wis.; and his ex-wife, Toni Albert of Argos.
