Will Alberda lived in 1910 with his wife Clara and their children Edith (3 y) and Peter (1 y) in Gallatin County, schooldistrict 34, this is in the area of the Dutch settlement that was later on called Holland and Amsterdam-Chuchill.
Will lived in 1920 with his wife Clara and their children at the Dutch settlement Holland, later on called Amsterdam-Churchill, Gallatin County, in the southwestern part of Montana. Their daughter Jeanette died there in July 1934 at the age of 13 years.

His son Jacob (Jake) and his family lived with them on the farm or right next doors.
William died in 1949 at the age of 64 years. His widow Clara died in 1958 at the age 73 years.
