She began working as a cashier at the Albert Steiger Company (a department store) at Springfield on Sept. 18, 1922 and remained there until Oct. 30, 1959. At the time of her passing she resided at 64 Avon Place, Springfield with her sister, Mrs. Ethel Wilkinson. Anna's birthdate and birthplace were found in her obituary and have not been verified.
