CLARA CLARETTA ALBAUGH NORTON

Mrs. Clara A. Norton, eighty-six, West Hickory, died at her home on December 18. Born in Churchill, Pa., on September 27, 1887, a daughter of Harvey and Elnora Baker Albaugh, she was married to George W. Norton, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the West Hickory United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Edward H. Norton and William G. Norton, both of West Hickory; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Stover, Star Route, Tionesta, Mrs. Merle (Marjorie) Thompson, RD, Tionesta, Mrs. Margaret Johnston, Vancouver, Washington, and Mrs. Frederic (Virginia) Anderson, Youngstown, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Gertrude) Haemmerlin, Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Leona Lewis, Richmond, Virginia, and Mrs. Midred Wagner, Laguna Beach, California; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a great—great-grandchild.
The family received friends at the James K. Haslet Funeral Home, Tionesta. The Rev. Merritt W. Edder, pastor of the West Hickory and Tionesta United Methodist Churches, officiated. Interment was in the Starr Cemetery, Tionesta.
