AKINS, BENNIE A. Sergeant
Company A, 52d Infantry. For extraordinary heroism in action near Munster, Alsace, September 12-13, 1918. In repulsing a raid on our trenches, Corp. Akins seized an automatic rifle and pursued the Germans across No Man's Land in the face of converging fire of several enemy machine guns. Home address, Mrs. Elizabeth Dolvin Akins, Union Point, Ga.
