Denmark Community - Mrs. Frankie L. Akins, 85, died July 8 at home under the care of Vista Hospice. The native and life-long resident of Bulloch County was a homemaker. She was a member of Brooklet Primitive Baptist Church and widow of Rufus Akins.

SURVIVORS: a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Sammy Glisson of Denmark; a son, R.L. Akins of Reidsville; three grandsons, Rick and Lee Glisson of Denmark and Joe Glisson of Register; and five great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial in Brooklet City Cemetery.
