RICHMOND, VA - Lucy Lovelace Akers, 95, of Richmond, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005.
She was the daughter of the late James and Rosa Lovelace of Martinsville, Virginia.
Mrs. Akers was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggie A. Akers; her brother, Ray L. Lovelace (Charlotte S.); many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Bailey.
Mrs. Akers was a member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held at 2 pm Friday, April 8, in Westhampton Memorial Park.
