ALTIZER, Loretta Akers, 66, of Radford, passed away Saturday, April 10, 1999 at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Brethren Church.

Survivors include her husband, Willie E. Altizer, of Radford; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bruce Altizer, of Radford, and Larry Altizer and Linda Wareing, of Dublin; her mother, Lovelyne Duncan Akers, of Alum Ridge; one brother and sister-in-law, James Akers, Jr. and Ruth Anne, of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Christi Blair and husband, James, David Altizer, Nicholas Altizer and Bernadette Altizer; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Blair and Issac Blair.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 13, 1999 at 3 p.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
