My Maternal Grandfather, Walter Orville Schaefer and Ralph's Grandmother, Lillian (Nee Schaefer) McDonley were brother and sister. This means that Ralph and I are Maternal 2nd-Cousins. As my "ANGEL MOM"-Gladys M. (Nee Schaefer) Rupp said, "the Schaefer's are such good people." We always enjoyed running into Ralph and Wilma. Ralph once owned a monkey, among other exotic animals. He had the give the monkey away because it became possessive of him and aggressive. It was a pleasure to speak with Ralph and Wilma...and someday, I will again. (Added by P.W. Rupp)
