Ambrose Airhart, age 76, native of Derry, La., born October 19, 1889, was the son of the late Ambrose Hertzog Airhart and Rose Robinson Airhart of Natchitoches Parish, La., passed away Sunday morning, August 21, 1966 at his home in Baton Rouge. He was retired from Humble Oil Co., and at the time of his death had been serving as court deputy in the Family Court of East Baton Rouge Parish for the last 10 years. He was a member of Capitol Lodge No. 399, F&AM, and a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Arbuthnot Airhart; one daughter, Marjorie (W.D.) McCants; one son, Thomas F. Airhart; one daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Lee Airhart; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
