FLORENCE - Funeral service for Mr. Theodore "Ted" Aiken, Jr. will be 3 PM Tuesday in the Peoples Funeral Service of Florence Chapel. Burial will be in North View Cemetery. He died Tuesday June 18, 2013 in Baltimore, MD.
He was born in Florence County a son of the late Theodore and Rudell Cummings Aiken, Sr. He attended the public schools of Florence County and was employed as a contract Carpet Installer for many years.
Survivors include: four sisters, Dorothy Godbolt, Shirley (Allen) Davis, Laura Muldrow and Miriam (Roscoe) Muldrow; three brothers, Ozzie (Catherine) Aiken, Levern (Pauline) Singletary and England Aiken; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 901 Mechanic Street, Florence.
