Veronica (Timer) Aigner, age 86 of Conshohocken, a retired practical nurse, died on Monday, February 25, 2008. She was born in Conshohocken on September 12, 1921 daughter of the late John and Lena (Ilyas) Timer. She was the beloved wife of John Aigner.
Veronica attended the former St. Matthew High School. She held the rank of Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, where she served her country as an Army Nurse. Within the Army, she was affectionately referred to as ‘Wac's'. Veronica was employed throughout the area for years as a practical nurse.
She loved to read, especially mysteries, feed the birds, play Scrabble and work crossword puzzles. Above all, she was most proud of her family and her role as matriarch.
She is survived by: a son, John of Bensalem; 3 daughters, Annette McIlwain of Avondale, PA, Veronica Aigner of Perkasie, Caroline Aigner of Souderton; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, John Timer.
