*** IN LOVING MEMORY OF *** Rose Damaschena Gemelli Aiello was born on Thursday; January 31, 1918 in Des Moines; Polk County, Iowa to John and Mary (Agazia) Gemelli. She was bookkeeper for the family business, Iowa Boiler and Welding Co., a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar Society, a loving. creative mother and "Nana", and she will be greatly missed. Rose Damaschena Gemelli Aiello, 88, entered into rest on Wednesday; October 25, 2006 at Hillcrest Health and Rehab Center in Bellevue; Sarpy County, Nebraska. Those left to mourn her passing are her son Frank and Judy Aiello of Volin, South Dakota; daughter Catherine and Hugh Stirts of Papillion, Nebraska; granddaughters Rose and Steve Carlson of Omaha, Cara Stirts of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Hollie and Steve Urbauer of Lincoln; and grandson, Dominic Aiello of Austin, Texas; four great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic, sisters Angelina Nigro, Lucille Mazza and Minnie Bellizzi, and her parents. May they rest in peace. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday; October 29, 2006 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home with 3:00 p.m. Altar Society Rosary and a parish Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday; October 30, 2006 at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Anthony's Church.
