Albert Louis Aiello was born on 24 Jan 1923 in Hoboken, Hudson Co, NJ, the tenth of eleven children to bless the marriage of Francesco Aiello and Maria Antonia Teresa Caterina Romano. His father was born in Decollatura, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy and his mother was born in Ardore, Reggio, Calabria, Italy.

Louis' older siblings were, Mariagrazia "Mary", Philomena "Fannie", Rosa, Teresa "Dit", Vincenzina "Tinnie", Frank Samuel, Frederick "Freddie" who died in the German Measles epidemic of 1918, Joseph Anthony, Ida Anne "Edith" and a younger brother Anthony Joseph "Tony" who died in World War II.

He married Anne Theresa Rella, on 14 Jun 1953 at St Francis of Rome Roman Catholic Church; Bronx, Bronx Co, NY. Anne the youngest of six children to bless the marriage of Pasquale Rella and Antoinette Gagliardi.

Louis was a beautician by trade.

They had two children: Frank Anthony and Luanne Catherine.

Lou left this earthly life on 04 Dec 2003 in Hackensack, Bergen Co, NJ at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 11 days after 50 years of marriage to the love of his life.

Anne never remarried, remaining a widow for just over ten years, joining Lou in God's heavenly kingdom on 14 Mar 2014.

Lou was was an amazingly giving man and the expression "he had a huge heart" would be a great way to describe him. One would never know that he had been saddled in life since childhood with a weak heart.

He was blessed in life with an abundance of riches starting with his movie star looks, which were often compared to those of Rory Calhoun. He had the quickest wit, the greatest smile and laugh, the firmest handshake, the best story teller, the most beautiful wife, a handsome, successful son and a beautiful, funny, adoring daughter; not to mention the additional blessings of a beautiful and caring daughter-in-law and a handsome, successful son-in-law and three smart, handsome grandsons.

Uncle Lou was loved by everyone, the true sign of a life well lived.
