The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home Inc., 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Yorkana. Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hilt was born in Lower Chanceford Township. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Haugh) Alloway. She was a retired employee of the former Federal Cigar Co., Red Lion. She was a member of Canadochly United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hilt also is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ahrens, York, and Robert Ahrens, Red Lion; a daughter, Betty Barshinger, Red Lion; two stepsons, Carl Hilt, New Orleans, and Ray Hilt, Windsor RD 2; a stepdaughter, Joyce Leister, East Prospect; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two brothers, Irvin Alloway, Brogue, and Raymond Alloway, Mount Wolf; and a sister, Elsie Forwood, Manchester.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Dennis L. Weidler. 11-01-89
