Madeleine Chasse Ahrberg, Loving Wife and Beloved Mother. Born May 13, 1922 to proud parents Joseph and Bertha Chasse and entered into the hands of Our Lord April 22, 2011. Madeleine dedicated her life to her husband Robert Ahrberg and her children: Gretchen (Sidney Frame), R. Joseph (Diane Foley), James (June McCartney), Carl, and William, who preceded her in death December 8, 2010, (Heidi Skofield). Madeleine leaves 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren whom she cherished. She also leaves her brother, Bertrand Chasse, and sister, Jacqueline Weissbach. Madeleine will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and missed dearly by her loved ones. A service for Madeleine will be held July 30th at 9:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church located at 395 Chestnut St. Springfield. Followed by interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery on Fuller Rd., at Davis St., in Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield Ma. 01104.
