Fay Evans Ahlstrom, 83, died February 27, 1993 in Tooele, Utah.
Born December 6, 1909, Ophir, Utah, to Jonathan Ahlstrom and Sara Evans. Married Ida Dewegey in 1945 in California. She died in 1953. Married Marion S. Collins, January 9, 1954. She died in 1984.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, member of American Legion. He was employed at Dugway Proving Grounds, from which he retired. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, served in many capacities including temple worker, bishop and in regional special interest groups. He was a friend and example to all who knew him.
Survived by: Children, LaRae Caudill, Tulare, Calif.; Ralph Collins and wife, Geri, Phoenix, Arizona; Barbara Black and husband, Alan, Tooele; sister, Gwen Phillips and husband ''Phil'', Biloxi, Mississippi; brother, Morrall and wife, Blanche, Whittier, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a brother, Taft Ahlstrom and a sister, Thelma Hagen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 1993, 1 p.m., Tooele 15th LDS Ward, 180 So. Coleman, Tooele, Utah. Friends call Tate Mortuary, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Interment: St. John Cemetery, St. John, Utah.
