He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Mr. Aguilar was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Laarni; daughters, Bernardine Aguilar of San Francisco and Beverly Benschoter of Chula Vista; son, Lt. Col. DeLane Aguilar of Washington, DC; sisters, Olivia Bautista of San Diego and Norma Turgano of San Jose; and two grandchildren.
