"Abel R. Aguilar, affectionately known as "Lito," began his eternal living on May 25, 2011. It was the merciful hand of God and not sickness that opened the gates of heaven for our Lito. This is true of his life, "For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4

Today, he is with his wife, Rosie, of 40 years. For them it was love at first sight and now together again for eternity. They leave behind the endearing love of their daughters: Belinda Feore, Diane Enriquez (husband Butch), Leba Blanchard (husband Jim); grandchildren: Anthony Enriquez (wife Kim), John Feore (wife Valerie), Jenelle and Johanna Feore, James, Daniel, Michaela Blanchard; great-grandchildren: Selena, Jazmine and Aaliyah Enriquez, Daniella, Adelia, Dominck Feore. Abel honorably served in the U.S. Air Force/Army during WWII. Becoming a great soldier was his life's ambition. In 1952, Abel gave his life to Jesus Christ and it was then he became a true solider of the cross. He was an amazing teacher of Sunday school for over 54 years. Through the Royal Ranger program, he was a leader, mentor and father role model to young men. Abel seized every opportunity to share Christ with the rich and poor alike. In his golden years he dedicated his life to short term missionary building projects. Through the Mission Builders/Y.W.A.M. organizations he used his trade skills to build churches, bible colleges and housing around the world. Some of his favorite places were Katmandu and Pokhara, Nepal; Annapurna Range in the Himalayas, Bangkok, Thailand; Osaka, Kobe, Kamigori, Japan; Kona, Hilo, Ma noa Valley, Hawaii; Barbados, Puerto Rico, Germany, Brazil, Paris, France and many places "in the good old USA." Abel was a proud member of the Laborer's Union, Local 585. Working in construction was not work for him, it was his passion for over 50 years. Abel was an excellent provider for his family and generously gave of himself to help others any way he could. The best things about Abel were his incredible sense of humor, his great big smile, a strong handshake, and the ability to encourage with a kind word, a pat on the back and a "thumbs up." Abel loved people and made friends everywhere he was, perhaps even you. We will always hold you close, Dad, what can we say but "two thumbs up"you were one of a kind! -Billie, Dedie and Pinkie."
