Eva, age 94, of Palmyra, passed away Oct. 25, 2007, at her residence. Eva was raised by her aunt & uncle, as her mother died giving birth to her. She spent many years helping her aunt and uncle out at their clothing store and was the bookkeeper for them. Eva was married to the late Charles Agnew in 1944. They spent their honeymoon with Lee, Catherine and Donna Lee Platner, celebrating by dancing on the "Silver Queen", a riverboat on the Rock River in Janesville, WI. She was a housewife and enjoyed her flowers, loved birds and squirrels. In her later years she spent her time watching the birds and squirrels out her window. She had weekly Bible studies with her friends until their age and disabilities kept them from coming. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. Eva was determined to stay in her home, which she was able to do only because of her wonderful neighbor, Anna Marie Gerlach and family. They were her resource for everything. Eva is survived by her special friends, Anna Marie Gerlach and Mary Ebbot; niece, Donna Lee (Marvin) Meister and their family, Brian and Brenda; and her many church friends, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Chuck" Agnew; her parents; uncle and aunts. Funeral service were held at Mealy's Funeral Home, Palmyra, WI.
