Dietrich, a son of Mr. And Mrs. Harm D. Agena, Dietrich was born southwest of Burr in the Saunders Creek district and lived near here until two years ago when he moved to Auburn.
The accident occurred while he and several others were working digging a trench, which caved in, a steel barrel struck Mr. Agena breaking his neck.
Mrs. Agena was formerly Florence Brennan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brennan and was born in Burr. His parents still reside in Saunders Creek. Two sisters, Mrs. Carl Straback and Mrs. Paul Skraback of Trenton attended the funeral and many other relatives and friends from Douglas, Burr and Sterling.
Mr. Agena was 27 years old.
