Albert A. Agee
Albert A. Agee, of 624 Dooms Crossing Road, passed away Friday morning (Oct. 31, 2003) at the University of Virginia Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born July 20, 1930, in Charlottesville, he was the son of the late Guy B. and Geneive Fitch Agee.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany.
After working many years as a bread salesman, he retired from Flowers Baking Co. in 1992 as a distributor with 18 years of service.
He was a member of VFW Post No. 452 of Waynesboro and past president of Dooms Ruritan Club, and was a volunteer at the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank of Verona.
He enjoyed his home and preferred vacations at home rather than traveling and was a dedicated fan of the Washington Redskins, and University of Virginia football and basketball teams.
