THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., March 16, 1928, p. 6, col. 2:
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon for Miss Annie Agee at the Old Well Christian Church, by Rev. J. S. Bryant. Miss Agee was born on November 2, 1910, at Spencer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Agee, and lived here close to the heart of the people until she died on March 11, 1928. The long siege of illness began last fall in November, and since then she was not able to leave the home of her grandfather, P. D. Agee.
In 1922, she joined the Old Well Christian Church and has been one of its staunchest members. The school as well as the church will miss her as she was very dear to her school mates.
The body was laid beside that of her little sister in the Old Well cemetery. Out of town relatives who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. George Agee, Mrs. Rison, Mrs. Kenney and daughters Lucille and Mildred, Mrs. Louise Clark and son, John Clark and Tom Brown of Winston-Salem; Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Clark and daughter Nannie Kate of Callands, Va.,; Mr. and Mrs. John Kallam and Marshall Kallam of High Point, N.C.
