Alton R. Agee, 88, of Richmond, husband of Evelyn Baber Agee, died Thursday, January 13, 2005. He is also survived by a son, James B. Agee and wife, Jean; a daughter, Maryetta A. Rosemond and husband, Bobby; five grandchildren, Kenny and Danny Agee, Vicki Agee Stitzer, and Kenny and Scott Mays; 10 great-grandchildren, all of Richmond. Mr. Agee was born and raised in Buckingham County, Va. and served in the Army during WWII. He worked for Richmond Piece Dye Works and Bunny Cleaners. Remains rest at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., where the family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Providence United Methodist Church, 901 S. Providence Rd., Richmond, Va. 23236.
