Patty L. Agans, 75, of Hillsboro died at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro with the Very Rev. James L. Neuman, V.F., pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, officiating.

Graveside committal will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon.
Mrs. Agans was born in Mattoon on Dec. 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Russell and Myrtle (Rutan) Jenkins. She married William Foley in 1960, and he preceded her in death. She then married Faryl W. Agans in St. Louis on Dec. 21, 1991, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2008.
During her lifetime, she lived in Mattoon, North Aurora, St. Louis and Hillsboro. A 1957 graduate of Mattoon High School, she had worked at CIPS, Foley Glass in Mattoon, Anixter Cable Co. in purchasing in Schaumburg and Franklin Electronics in St. Louis.
Mrs. Agans was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro and the American Business Women Association (ABWA). She loved traveling in her RV and her schnauzer, Sasha.
She is survived by a sister, Marjorie Jean Thompson; and many extended family members.
In addition to her parents and first and second husbands, Mrs. Agans was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Franklin.
