Death: Oct. 10, 1967

Charles Agan had been Silver City's drayman, mailman and a citizen for many years. He and his team were a familiar sight on the streeets anytime.

Charley was an old timer of Silver City and greatly admired by all who knew him. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and they did many nice things for him. He was a day man and for many years carried the mail from the depot to the Post Office. In his last years he lived at the Nishna Cottage in Malvern for two years and then moved to the Tabor Rest Home. He died at the Hamburg Hosptial at the age of 87 in 1967.
