The Affantranger cousins all descended from Joseph and Josephine Earnst Affentranger. Joseph's children spelled the family name Affantranger.

Photo taken 1886 and was noted in a journal kept by Hattie Huff Thompson, daughter of Josephine Anthriantrite Affantranger Huff. She made a trip to Meadville in 1886 from Michigan.
