Raymond Lee Adney, age 77, was born February 24, 1935, in Coweta, Oklahoma, to Dorothy and Ted Adney. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was stationed in San Diego, California when he met the love of his life and best friend Vivian; they married June 12, 1965. Ray enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and working in the yard. He was also a gifted artist working with leather goods and stained glass.
Raymond passed away after fighting Alzheimer's disease on September 22, 2012, at Regency Palms Memory Care Home. He will be truly missed by all who know and loved him. Ray is survived by his wife Vivian, his three daughters; Debra Abraham of Tucson, Arizona, Freda and husband Derrick Hall of Olathe, Colorado, Tammy and husband Roland Mondragon of Las Vegas, Nevada, his son Bobby and wife Melanie Priante of Las Vegas, Nevada, his 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. October 7th, at Regency Palms Memory Care, 3985 S. Pearl Street, Las Vegas, Nevada 89121. In place of flowers, the family would appreciate donations sent to the Alzheimer's foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001 in memory of Raymond Lee Adney.
