Charles (Sonny) Adler, 58, 500 Green Rd., died April 3, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was owner and operator of Adler Service and a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He belonged to the Moose Lodge, American Legion, VFW, Conservation Club, Fraternal Order of Police, National Hot Rod Association, and was an honorary member of the Drag Racing Hall of Fame. He attended North United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Merrell (Barnes) Adler, Madison; two sons, Danny J. Adler, Crystal River, Fla., and Charles L. Adler, Madison; one daughter, LeTiaica Ann Wilson, Madison; a sister, Dorothy McCord, Milton; one brother, Jerry Adler, Hanover; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m. at Lytle-Gans-Andrew Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
The military graveside service will be conducted by the Marine Corps Honor Guard Detachment of Ft. Knox, Ky.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Special Olympics DTC or the North United Methodist Church building fund.
