George K. Adler, 68, Greeley, died Thursday, Oct. 6, west of Greeley.
He was born Sept. 10, 1920, to George and Anna Marie (Bauer) Adler in Berthoud.
On Dec. 27, 1942, he married Esther Jacoby in Berthoud.
Mr. Adler grew up and received his education in Berthoud where his family farmed. He began working on the Jacoby farm northwest of Windsor in the early 1940s. In the late 1940s he began farming on his own in the Windsor area. His wife died Oct. 23, 1983. He retired from farming due to his health in February 1987.
He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Errol (Sheila) Ketterling of Brighton; a son, Ron of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. George (Maggie) Schleiger of Berthoud and Mrs. Jake (Hannah) Reichert of Loveland; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Rebecca Adler and Mary Martsh, and four brothers, John, Hank, Carl and Rhiney, are deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a. m. Monday at Faith United Church of Christ. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor.
Contributions may be made to Faith United Church of Christ in care of Windsor Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
