ADKISSON, CHARLOTTE CHRIS 85, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at Twinbrook Nursing Home. She was a native of Lima, OH, and the former Charlotte Goble and Kohlhorst. Charlotte worked as a clerk for 18 years at the Voss Heatherfield Pharmacy, Taylor Drugs and as cashier at the old Gordons Golden Horse. She was also a receptionist at the Arthur Murrays Dance Studio. During World War II she worked at Saks Fifth Ave. in Beverly Hills, CA. Here at home she frequently attended the weekly Mello Tones Tea Dances and was a member of the Women of the Moose. Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Candy Korfhage (Bert) and Vickie Seward; one brother, Charles Goble (Juanita); four grandchildren, Tony and Luke Seward, Holly Robinson and Whitney Philpot (Tommy); and two great-grand-children, Brandon Tindle and Kendahl Johnson. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday.
