LESLIE C. ADKINS, 69, of 1916 Broad Street, died at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. He was a lifelong resident of Paducah and was a paint contractor. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church.
He is survived by a son, Robert L. Adkins of Warm Springs, California; three sisters, Sister Mary Redempta of Covington, Mrs. R. E. Bailey of Benton and Mrs. J. Wesley Broyles of Louisville; an uncle, R. C. McMahan of Paducah; an aunt, Mrs. Sally Englert of Paducah and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. today at the St. Francis de Sales Church with the Rev. Albert Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. The men of St. Francis de Sales Church will meet at 7:30 o'clock this evening at the Roth Funeral Chapel for prayers. Pallbearers will be Charlie Holcomb, Henry Cline, William Jones, Ed Burnham, Frank Clark and William Cline.
