| Birth: | Aug. 6, 1932 Ashe County North Carolina, USA | | Death: | Jul. 30, 2010 Huntington Cabell County West Virginia, USA |  LUNDALE, W.Va. — Beulah Blanch Roark Adkins, 77, of Lundale, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 30, 2010, from St. Mary's Medical Center at Huntington after an extended illness.
Born August 6, 1932, in Ashe County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late James L. Sr. and Ethel Pearl Stidham Roark. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Bill Roark and Jimmy Roark; five other infant brothers and sisters; two granddaughters, Chastity Hatfield and Angela Dawn Adkins, and one grandson, Daniel Adkins.
Beulah was a loving wife, mother, Maw Maw, aunt, sister and friend. Before her long illness, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 60 years, Ollie H. Adkins; one daughter, Deborah (Glenn) Adkins-Moore of Solon, Ohio; five sons, James "Duke" (Diana) Adkins of Amelia, Va., Richard "Rick" (LaDonna) Adkins of Glen Allen, Va., Darrell (Delores "Sissy") Adkins and Robert Adkins, both of Lundale, and David (Rhonda) Adkins of Accoville; 10 grandchildren, Leslie Clarke, Timmy Adkins Sword, Erin Adkins, Cindy Vance, Scott Adkins, Rickara Adkins, Cathy Harvey, Beckie Adkins, David Adkins II, and Kelsey Moore; four great-grandchildren, Dillon Clarke, Tyler Vance, Kassidy Hawkins and Jacquelyn Harvey; one brother, Ervin "Tommy" (Opal) Roark of Robinette; two sisters, Shirley (Johnny) Sansom of Cyclone and Dolly Wallace of Accoville; many nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, August 3, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Adkins and Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Her sons, son-in-law and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home

I was so sorry to learn of your death. I graduated with your sister, Shirley Roark. My Dad was very good friends with Ollie. I know he is heart broken. Rest in peace until you are reunited with him again. -
