She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years P.A. "Paul" Aden, sisters Jewel L. Aden and Faye Kollmann and brother John Hart Graham.
For many years Mary Helen and "Paul" owned Aden's Garage in the Woodland Heights Area of Houston. After retirement they moved to Willis, Texas and lived on the shore of Lake Conroe for many wonderful years. Paul's health forced them to move back to Houston in 2004.
Mary is survived by her son John "Buddy" Aden and daughter-in-law Pat Aden; grandchildren Kenneth Aden, Kaylyn Merricks and husband Jimmy and Kandi Gibbs and husband John and great grandchildren Nicolas and Katelyn Merricks and Brandon, Jordan and Christian Gibbs.
The family thanks all the Doctors and Nurses that worked to keep "Mamaw" as comfortable as possible in her last days. A visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
