A. Imelda Adelgren, 97, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at the Hutchinson Hospital.

The daughter of Noble and Angelina Alice (Kreiser) Winterrowd, she was born July 31, 1909, in Chillicothe, MO.

She graduated from Vilas (KS) High School in 1928.

On February 11, 1929, she was united in marriage to Gustaf E. Adelgren. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1962.

She was a member of the Grant Avenue Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the VFW Auxiliary, the Farm Bureau, and the Neosho Valley F.C.E.

Survivors included a son, Kermit Adelgren of Hutchinson, KS; a daughter, Valeta Hole and husband Xury of Andover, KS; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; and one grandson.

Interment will be May 14, 2007, in the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery (Greenlawn Cemetery) in Chanute, Kansas.
